Every plugin is a swappable driver behind a narrow interface. Your apps see capabilities, not vendor SDKs — so the day you swap Stripe for a different payment back-end, your rules don’t change.

Per-app scoping

Connect Stripe to Cards. Don’t connect it to Loans. The agent and rules in Loans literally cannot see Stripe credentials.

Encrypted at rest

OAuth tokens, API keys, and webhook secrets stored with per-column AES-GCM. Audit log on every read.

Logged fallback

When a vendor is unreachable, plugins return a structured error and the trace bus captures the timeout — no silent drops.
